Who is responsible
TTool is run by TTool, the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to support@ttool.app.
What we store
- Your TTool account: the email address and name you sign up with, and your password — stored only as a one-way hash, never readable by anyone, us included. Your role and sign-in status, and when the account was created.
- Game accounts you link: the in-game player you claim on each game world, your sitters, the role your group gives you, and the private token the browser extension and the userscripts use to upload for you.
- What you enter or upload: troop counts, village settings, incoming attacks, plans, calls, despatches and deliveries you report. When a page is uploaded through the browser extension, a userscript or by pasting it, TTool reads the figures out of it; the page itself is not kept.
- Contact handles, if you add them (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord), so your group can reach you.
- Activation codes and reset links we email you, stored only as a keyed hash, together with the IP address that asked for them — used solely to stop the site being abused to send mail.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure the service.
- Visit statistics: through Vercel Web Analytics we count page views and visitors — which pages are opened, the referring site, country, device type, browser and operating system. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device: a visitor is recognised only for the current day, through a hash of the IP address and browser that is never stored and starts over every day. Only the page address is sent, never what comes after the "?" in it. We only ever see totals, never individual people.
TTool also imports the public map data each game world publishes (villages, players, alliances, population). It is the game's own public information and is the same for everyone; TTool uses it to put names to coordinates.
The TTool browser extension
The TTool extension for Chrome sends pages of the game to your TTool account, so you do not have to paste them by hand. It works like this:
- It reads a page only when you click its icon, and only the game tab that is open at that moment. Nothing runs on the game's pages beforehand, and it never reads other tabs, other websites or your browsing history.
- What it sends: the content (HTML) of that game page — your troops overview, your rally point's incoming troops or your farm lists — together with your account token, and only when you press "Send to TTool". It is sent over an encrypted connection to ttool.app and nowhere else. TTool reads the figures out of it, as described above, and does not keep the page itself.
- What it stores on your device: only your account token, in the browser's own extension storage, so you do not have to type it every time. You can change or remove it from the extension's settings, or by uninstalling it.
- It collects no name, email address, location, keystrokes, clicks or other activity, and uses no cookies, analytics or advertising.
Data received through the extension is used only to provide the TTool features you use it for. It is never sold, never transferred to third parties except the technical providers listed below that run TTool, and never used for advertising, to assess creditworthiness or for lending.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): your account, signing in, the tools, and sharing with your group what the group features are for.
- To keep the service secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): send limits, request logs, and preventing abuse.
- To understand how the site is used (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): anonymous, aggregated visit statistics tell us which tools are used and where to improve. You can object at any time by writing to us, or simply by blocking the statistics script in your browser — the site works the same.
We only send emails the service needs — activation codes and password resets. No newsletters, no advertising, no profiling, and no decisions are made about you automatically.
Who can see it
What you share in a group — troops, attacks, calls, contact handles — is visible to the members of that group as the group's settings allow. Group owners can connect Discord channels; the messages TTool then posts there include player and village names.
To run TTool we rely on a small number of technical providers — hosting and database, visit statistics, email delivery, and domain/DNS services — who process data only on our behalf and under data processing agreements. The database is stored in the EU. Some providers are based outside the EU (in the USA); in that case transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The full list of providers is available on request at support@ttool.app.
We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Your account and everything tied to it: until you delete the account.
- Activation codes, reset links and the IP addresses that requested them: 30 days.
- Hosting request logs: a short period set by the provider, at most a few weeks.
- Visit statistics: aggregated only, kept for the period set by the provider.
Deleting your account removes it, your linked game accounts and what they uploaded, and the plans and calls you created. Groups you own are deleted with it. Copies may survive in the database provider's backups for a limited time until they rotate out.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict its use, or object to it. You can change your password and delete your account yourself from Account settings; for anything else, write to support@ttool.app and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Age
TTool is not meant for anyone under 14. Please do not sign up if you are younger.
Cookies
TTool only uses the cookies it needs to work, and the visit statistics use none — see the Cookie Policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
